- Next, in the "Find a school" section, type in South Edmonson in the "School Name" box OR just type in 42171 in the "City, State, Zip" box.

- Choose South Edmonson Elementary and click Vote (If this is your first time voting, you will be ask to allow the Give with Target Application. You will need to allow for your vote to count)

- You can vote one time per week through September 21st.

PTO Meeting Update

Thank you to everyone who came out for last night's PTO meeting!  It was great to see such a crowd and always great to see all the new faces.

Last night, it was discussed and approved that our Goal Project for 2013-2014 is to purchase Playground Equipment for SEE.  We are very excited to work toward this goal and know with your help we can make this a reality.

Please remember that Coke Sales info went out today and we NEED your help in reaching our school wide goal of selling 2,150 cases of drinks!

Also, please remember we have a PTO Meeting tomorrow night at 6 PM.  Immediately following the meeting will be a volunteer training.  Items to be discussed will include:  Parade Float Budget, Goal Account, Fall Festival Budget, upcoming events and fundraisers.  Ms. Lisa Lindsey will be there to give us some information on Title I.  Please make plans to attend.

Spirit Wear Items on Sale through Friday, August 16

Make sure to head over to http://stores.blue84spirit.com/KY1240 and check out all of SEE's new Spirit Wear Items!  You can place your order two different ways.  Either visit http://stores.blue84spirit.com/KY1240 and place your order or use the order form that was sent home in your child's folder and turn it in to your child's teacher.  All orders are due no later than Friday, August 16. 

 

SEE PTO will receive 10% of all sales so this is a great way to help out the school, while wearing your Bulldog Pride!

August has ALREADY Been A Busy Month for SEE PTO!

 

The school year is just getting started, but SEE PTO has been busy working on projects and planning events to make this a GREAT year for the students, parents and teachers.  Take a look at a few PTO sponsored projects that have been completed this week...

Our storage building arrived Friday and we could not be happier with it!  This has been in the works since April and we are proud to say that it is finally completed.  Volunteers came out Saturday morning to install shelving and finishing touches and now we are ready to make good use of our new storage space! 

In case you may not be aware, SEE PTO stores all Fall Festival Games, prizes, etc. Holiday Decorations, Fair and Parade items from year to year.  (You never know when you might need it again!) And this building is a much needed item to enable us to keep all of our belongings in one central place.  We are THRILLED to have this great addition!

 

 

We are also proud of the beautiful new mulch on our playground and around the building that PTO helped fund.  This was a much needed project as well since the old mulch had washed away.  This makes for a nice safe place for the students to enjoy their outside time.  Also added on the playground, new rims and chain basketball nets. These are sure to see much activity with school back in session!
