PTO Meeting Thursday

Please make plans to attend the S.E.E. PTO Meeting tomorrow evening beginning at 6:00 PM.  We will be discussing Fall Festival, our Goal Project progress, obtaining our Tax Exempt status, Breakfast with Santa and much more.  Refreshments will be served.

Cokes, Cokes and MORE COKES!!!

On Thursday, TWO tractor and trailers pulled into S.E.E. to deliver our magnificent order!! Thanks to all who sold, we not only surpassed the record number of soft drinks sold at South Edmonson, but also had the largest fundraiser in this area that Coke has ever been a part of!!! 

2,201 cases were dropped off around 8:30 am Thursday morning and by lunch time with the help of the GREAT Coke Guys who helped and the WONDERFUL parent volunteers, we had them unloaded, re boxed and ready for pick up. 

By the end of the evening almost all the drinks had been loaded into parent's cars and orders had been filled.  Thanks again to all the hardworking volunteers and staff who helped us get all these soft drinks unloaded, re boxed and loaded into parents cars and on their way home!  What an AWESOME group of volunteers we have at SEE!!!

Thanks to all the parents, students and staff who helped make this fundraiser so successful by selling drinks.   TWO THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND ONE CASES!!!!! Now that's a lot of Cokes!

S.E.E. PTO at The Edmonson Co. Fair and Parade!

The S.E.E. Parade Float took top honors at the Edmonson County Fair Parade by winning Best Float in our class AND Best in Show!!! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with construction, decoration and donated items to help make this all possible.  It was absolutely FABULOUS!!!

The Exhibit Barn at the Fair looked Fantastic, too! The students' work was amazing, as always, and the fall themed decoration were just perfect.  Thanks to the great volunteers who worked so hard to make this come together and look so wonderful.

Again, thanks to all who helped make this year's fair and parade such a huge success.  We definitely showed our Bulldog Pride! GO BULLDOGS!!!

Fair Day Parade....We need your help!

As most of you already know, next Friday, September 14 is the Edmonson County Fair Day Parade.  We want to show our Bulldog pride and have a great caravan on S.E.E. Students, Parents and Teachers follow behind the main float in the parade.  To do this, we need volunteers who have a truck and trailer and are willing to drive in the parade.  If you have a truck and/or a trailer that students could ride on, please email me at southedmonsonpto@gmail.com.  Or you can call me or Laura Grace on the phone numbers that were listed on the Parade Permission Slip that went home in your child's backpack yesterday afternoon.

If you would like for your child to ride in the caravan, he/she must be accompanied by an adult and the signed permission slip must be returned to their teacher on Wednesday, September 13.  Also, we ask that you wear your Bulldog Shirt or a Red Shirt and bring at least one bag of candy.

Grandparent's Lunch - Thursday and Friday

This Thursday and Friday, SEE Welcomes all grandparents to have lunch with the grandchildren to celebrate Grandparent's Day!  Your child had information sent home with them regarding times and dates last week.  For more information, please speak to your child's teacher.

Make sure to stop by the SEE PTO "Picture Studio", located in the lunchroom on the stage, and have a picture made to keep as a memory of this special day!  The cost will be $10 for 2 - 5x7 photos.

Coke Sales and Spirit Wear Sales End Tomorrow!

Tomorrow will end our Coke Sales AND Spirit Wear Sales.  Please send in your order forms and money for both OR you may place your order online for Spirit Wear Items by clicking HERE.

 

!!REWARD DAY #2 TOMORROW!!

 

 

Tomorrow is also our second reward day for students who have been selling Coke products.  Here is how your child can earn a reward trip to the park tomorrow (weather permitting):

 

Each student who sells at least a TOTAL of FIVE cases of drinks AND turns in their completed order form and money to their teacher in the morning will earn a trip to the park with Mr. Woosley tomorrow!

 

We had a great time last week with those students who met last week's selling goal and will do the same this week, too!

Look at our new flat screen monitors!!!!!

We are SO excited that we just received 38 flat screen monitors for our computer lab!!!  We are also equally as grateful to PTO parents, Daniel and Melissa Johnson, who worked with Sara Hutchinson of the surplus division of WKU to get these donated to S.E.E.  The students, teachers and staff are so happy to see this great update made to the computer lab.
